Vulnerability & Exposure Management
Prioritise the risk on the assets you operate.
A long vulnerability list is only useful when it points to the right assets and a practical next step. Assure connects device identity and software or firmware evidence with vulnerability intelligence.
01 / THE EVIDENCE
What Assure
brings together.
Asset-to-vulnerability matching
Generate candidate product identifiers from device fingerprints and use them to enrich the asset with CVE information. Identity and version quality are central to the quality of the match.
Severity and exploitation context
Bring CVSS severity together with Known Exploited Vulnerabilities information and EPSS enrichment. These signals help order investigation; they do not prove an asset has been compromised.
Lifecycle context
End-of-life and support evidence helps distinguish a patchable issue from a platform that needs replacement planning. Review the specific model and software release.
Operational prioritisation
Consider where the device sits and what depends on it when planning treatment. Use external assessment findings where available to add exposure evidence to a version-based match.
03 / DEPLOYMENT & SCOPE
Agree what
good evidence needs.
Start with your estate.
Identify the sites, assets, service owners and existing collection paths. Confirm the measurements you need, their freshness and the supported platform versions.
Understand the capability boundary.
A fingerprint match is a candidate finding, not an exploit demonstration. Backported fixes, incomplete versions and product ambiguity need review. Automatic patch deployment is not implied by vulnerability enrichment.
